ELV Engineer. (CCTV, FIRE ALARM, ACCESS CONTROL, PUBLIC ADDRESS SYSTEMS,PARK ASSIST)

Job Description

• Experience in the Engineering field- design, installation, operation, maintenance and integration with other systems of Fire Alarm, BMS, PA System, MATV;
• Knowledge in Facility Management Systems operations & Engineering best practices; 
• Should have good knowledge on networks, protocols, configuration, installation and integration CCTV, SACS, Car Park assist System; 
• Knowledge of IP and analog CCTV Systems; 
• Knowledgeable with the use of Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook); 
• Good communications skills in English

Skills

• Acting as the main technical adviser on site for subcontractors and operatives; 
  Setting out and surveying the site; 
• Checking plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy of calculations; 
• Ensuring all materials used and work performed are as per specifications; 
• Overseeing the selection and requisition of materials; 
• Managing, Monitoring and Interpreting the contract design documents supplied by the client; 
• Liaising with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project; 
• Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site.
• Planning the work and efficiently organizing site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines; 
• Overseeing quality control, health and safety matters on site; 
• Preparing reports as required; 
• Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties, and other problems that may arise.
• Education
• Diploma holder in Electrical, Electronics or its equivalents
• Minimum 5-7 years’ experience with 2-4 years’ experience in handling maintenance of ELV systems like CCTV, Fire Alarm, BMS, PA System and Network Switches.
