Assignments:
Assist diplomat to cover the followings but not limited to;
• Providing technical support for daily facility maintenance of the chancellery and the Ambassador’s residence including the arrangement of weekly/monthly/yearly visits of the maintenance companies, gardeners, etc…
• Clarification of any issues/troubles of the equipment,
• Visits arrangement of MEP or Civil contractors for repair works,
• Communicating, coordinating and following-up with diplomats and staff member of the Embassy on facility and equipment issues/troubles,
• Internal documentation for the approval and the payment for the repair works,
• Maintaining and updating repair records of the facilities,
• Planning of the preventative maintenance/renew schedule,
• Preparing occasional reports, summaries and memos on the facility issues when necessary,
• Providing occasional assistance during Embassy’s functions and events.
Qualification:
• Electrical or Mechanical Engineer/Technician
• At least 5 years of experience in the facility management/maintenance field or in related fields
• University/College degree
• Good communication skills in English
• Advanced computer operation skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and CAD drawing if possible).
• Ability to work efficiently under time constraint and work pressure in a multi-cultural environment with self-motivation.
• Proactive with excellent communication, arrangement and clarification skills
• Eligible for employment with transferable sponsorship under Qatari laws and regulations.
