SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

A Leading Structural Steel Company In Qatar is now looking for
SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

He will be responsible for the structural steel design, procurement,
fabrication and erection of heavy steel for industrial project. He will
be the key person who will communicate with clients, consultant,
contractor, or sub-contractor on all phases of construction for
various stages of work.
Minimum Qualification: Degree in Engineering / Structural /
Mechanical / Civil
Minimum Experience: 8-10 years’ experiences in structural
contracting field with 5yrs or more experience supervising design,
detailing, procurement and construction projects of increasing
complexity. Gulf Experience is an added advantage
Job-Specific Skills
Strong familiarity with design, detailing, planning and project
management.
Very strong engineering back ground.
Experience on design, detailing cods and software.
Experience on planning software.
Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented,
collaborative environment is essential.
Conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through
analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to read communication styles of team members and
contractors who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines.
Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating.
Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including
upper management, clients, and other departments.
Ability to defuse tension among project team, should it arise.
Ability to bring project to successful completion through political
sensitivity.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure
environment
